Saturn 21 — Custom Calibrated for TA-Specs
The modern arena stage is a brutal testing ground. Between multi-kilowatt PA systems, digital wireless links, and the heavy high-gain saturation required for technical virtuosity, guitarists often face a jarring disconnect—a critical loss of immediate tactile feel and real-time tonal feedback. The Saturn 21 was engineered by Y. Hank Lee to bridge exactly this gap. It is a high-performance bridge pickup designed to restore that vital, instinctual connection, treating the heavy air of a live concert not as an obstacle, but as a canvas
.
The Physics of the Live Mix
While typical technical humbuckers tend to choke their own dynamics or thin out under high gain, Saturn 21 uses our proprietary FSSW (Fine Structure Scattering Wound) alignment to keep the frequency spectrum wide open.
When you throw massive distortion at it, the low-end stays incredibly disciplined—riffs maintain their sharp, kinetic speed without dissolving into low-end sub-bass roar. In full humbucker mode, the midrange pushes forward with a distinct vocal texture, providing a fluid, singing lead line that cuts cleanly above cymbal wash and heavy bass lines without introducing ear fatigue.
One Toggle. Two Studio-Grade Realities.
The hallmark of a master-built instrument is versatility without compromise. Under our FSSW architecture, switching the Saturn 21 into its single-coil mode isn't a corrective afterthought—it is a transformation.
It matches the exact premium reference standard set by our Marsbucker 14 FC, completely bypassing the thin, drop-in-output weakness of traditional split coils. Instead, it unlocks a punchy, hyper-responsive single-coil voice overflowing with glass-like chime, immediate pick dynamics, and robust fundamental note weight.
Engineered in Taiwan for the Global Stage
Every Saturn 21 is born within the EGO Electronic laboratory in Taiwan, built under rigorous electromagnetic modeling to ensure your pickup reacts identically to our calibrated benchmark.
Looking forward, we are already advancing this design into the next frontier. Our upcoming QCSW (Quantum Chromo-Scattering Wound) implementation will take dynamic frequency shaping to its absolute mathematical limit, unlocking an even deeper dimension of transient note tracking and pristine transparency for the next generation of players.
