Navigating complex lead runs and expressive neck-position phrasing under heavy stage saturation, the Saturn 7 proved that a neck pickup can deliver massive, singing note weight without ever getting lost in the mix or overwhelming the low frequencies.

Re-Engineering the EQ Architecture

By applying our proprietary FSSW (Fine Structure Scattering Wound) alignment to the unique magnetic field of large polepieces, EGO re-balanced the pickup’s fundamental frequency spectrum:

Tightened Low-End: Sub-bass mud is surgically trimmed, providing a punchy, disciplined low-frequency response that tracks every speed-picking run with high definition.

Layered, Full-Bodied Midrange: The scooped "hollow" character of traditional large polepiece pickups is replaced with a dense, singing midrange that adds authority and wood-like body to single-note leads.

Refined High-End Definition: High frequencies extend with silky warmth and presence, completely eliminating the thin, brittle spike typical of traditional designs.
